JFK 50 Mile Waiting List Procedures

Once the “General Field” has been filled a waiting list will be assembled and ranked in order of the receipt of the entry.

Every time a confirmed “cancellation” is made from a member of the General Field, the highest ranking person on the waiting list will be informed by e-mail (phone if no e-mail is available) and given the option to fill the opened position.

On October 15, 2011 no more cancellations will be accepted and every remaining individual on the waiting list will have their entry fee check returned (if they sent in self-addressed-stamped-envelope with their original entry) or shredded. If a money order accompanied the original entry, a refund check will be returned to the waiting list individual.

Individuals on the waiting list can choose to change their entry status to that of a Charity Runner (as long as Charity Runner positions are still available) by contacting the Cumberland Valley Athletic Club in writing at: CVAC, 1012 Valleybrook Drive, Hagerstown, MD 21742-3464.
